The Intimate Cremation Funeral allows a limited number of mourners to attend Waseley Hills Crematorium for a short time and witness the committal.
This low-cost cremation funeral provides a basic coffin for a short and simple send-off. You can personalise the send-off with music.

Includes our funeral director services and Waseley Hills cremation fee. Plus additional options chosen to personalise the cremation.
Included in our fee:
Advice, support and guidance to help you decide on the funeral arrangements
Managing the funeral arrangements on your behalf
Taking care of all the necessary paperwork for the funeral to legally proceed
Collection of the deceased during normal working hours
Care and preparation of the deceased in our mortuary
Dressing the deceased in a shroud (dressing in own clothes at an additional cost)
A basic coffin
Funeral Notices – a personalised online memorial web page
A hearse and pallbearers to transport the deceased on the day of the committal
The ability to attend the crematorium for a short time to witness the committal for a limited number of mourners
Access to an almost unlimited music library to play during the service
The ashes can be scattered in the garden of remembrance at the crematorium, collected by yourself, or we can collect them and arrange for them to be returned to you

Simple Funeral

For those who don’t want all the fuss of a traditional funeral and would prefer a simpler send-off, our Simple Funeral provides a cremation or burial funeral service with fewer options and choices available to lower the cost.
Unattended Direct Cremation
from £1,480
This is a cremation that takes place without a service or mourners present. It provides a basic coffin and the ashes are returned to you afterwards. Some families choose to arrange their own service at a later date for the scattering or interment of the ashes.
Bespoke Funeral
from £3,150
Our Bespoke Funeral allows you to create a truly personalised funeral. This package is suitable for either a cremation or burial and gives you the widest range of options.
