A Simple Farewell

The Private Cremation Funeral allows a limited number of mourners to attend Waseley Hills Crematorium, Rubery, for a short time and witness the committal.

This low-cost attended direct cremation includes an oak veneer coffin for a short, simple send-off. You can personalise the send-off with music.

Includes our funeral director services and Waseley Hills cremation fee (the above cost allows a 10-minute service with a maximum of eight (8) mourners). Other intimate direct cremations are available at an additional cost. Plus, additional options can be chosen to personalise the cremation.

Unattended Direct Cremation

This is a cremation that takes place without a service or mourners present. It provides a basic coffin and the ashes are returned to you afterwards. Some families choose to arrange their own service at a later date for the scattering or interment of the ashes.

Thomas Furber went above and beyond in caring for him in his death. Sue from TF said good morning and good night to my dad every day. She would go in and sit with him and pass messages on from me when it was too much for us. There were fresh flowers in his little chapel room every day. They were so incredibly kind and patient with us. I said to Sue that if all medical professionals were as competent and caring in their work as she was, then she would be out of a job.
