Meet The Team Who’s Dedicated To Supporting You

Thomas Furber & Co. is an independent, family-run funeral directors, which today is led by Keith Barron.

Our dedicated team of funeral professionals are all local people who live in and around Birmingham. Between us, we have more than 100 years of experience in arranging funerals for local families.

What Our Clients Say About Us

We’re very honoured that our clients choose to give us feedback about the service they received. We receive many thank you cards, which we proudly display in our funeral home. You can also read the online reviews our clients have written about us on Google.

Guiding You Through Every Choice

Over the coming days and weeks, there will be many decisions that will need to be made to create a funeral that is unique and personal to your loved one. We start by deciding on what type of funeral your loved one would prefer.

A Bespoke Funeral

If you would prefer a traditional cremation or burial funeral with a service or even a more modern celebration of life service, our Bespoke Funeral provides you with the greatest range of options for personalising the funeral.

A Simple Funeral

For those who don’t want all the fuss of a traditional funeral and would prefer a simpler send-off, our Simple Funeral provides a cremation or burial funeral service but with fewer options and choices available to lower the cost.

A Direct Cremation

This is a cremation that takes place without a service or mourners present. It provides a basic coffin and the ashes are returned to you afterwards. Some families choose to arrange their own service at a later date for the scattering or interment of the ashes.

Why Choose Thomas Furber Funeral Directors?

We will be by your side, every step of the way, helping and supporting you while we arrange a truly special send-off to honour your loved one.
